Tendinitis

Achilles Tendinitis
Irritation and inflammation of the tendon that attaches to the back of the heel bone. Achilles tendinitis can be caused by improper warm up or over- training.

Treatment
Can be treated with ice, rest, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications. Chronic pain or any swelling should be professionally evaluated.

Many times these acute problems become chronic and affect ones quality of life. North Bay Foot & Ankle not only treats the acute phase they also rehabilitate the area to prevent a chronic condition.
